[[1954-1975]]
From a terrifying force of nature representing the horrors of war, to a parental figure primed for blockbuster kaiju team-ups,
Godzilla's role varied with each new Show era incarnation.
[[1984-1995]]
In 1984, the King of the Monsters' cinematic canon returned to its darker roots in Godzilla Returns.
This raging Godzilla radiated renewed menace, with a mountainous silhouette of massive dorsal fins running from its fanged face to its longest tail yet.
Originally he was a student of the Crane Hermit, a rival of Master Roshi. During his time as a student of the Crane Hermit, Chiaotzu developed a close friendship with Tien, and after leaving the school, he continued to train and travel with him. He adores Tien and goes everywhere with him. Chiaotzu specializes more in telekinetic techniques than in hand-to-hand combat, preferring to restrict his enemy's movement with his Paralysis and Psychokinesis techniques. During his match with Krillin and when Tien was fighting Goku, he made full use of it and tormented them by paralyzing them. In the fight with Nappa, he blew himself up to protect Tien.
After sacrificing himself in the fight with the Saiyans and later being resurrected with the Dragon Balls, Chiaotzu began to shy away from major fights, as Tien noted that the enemies they fought were becoming too strong for the two of them to handle. He was also concerned that Chiaotzu could die and never be brought back, as he had already been resurrected once before.
Though Chiaotzu doesn't fight much anymore, he still does what he can to support Tien in his training. He once mentioned that he prepares meals for Tien, and he uses his telekinetic abilities to help with farm work and other tasks. In fact, the farm's vegetables are especially highly regarded.
The truth is he only has one hair on his head.
