Dabura is the King of the Demon World that exists on the reverse side of the living world. His strength is so great that even the Supreme Kai fears him. Even so, Babidi's magic is stronger still. Having fallen under Babidi's evil spell, Dabura has become the wizard's loyal slave.

Aware that Goku and the Z-fighters came to stop Majin Buu's revival, Dabura turned Piccolo and Krillin to stone with his spit. He later enters into a fierce battle with Gohan aboard Babidi's spaceship.

After his death at the hands of Majin Buu, he was naturally cast into the bowels of Other World, but he seemed so comfortable there, King Yemma decided to send him to heaven instead.
