The Namekian wish-granting dragon whose name in the Namekian language means "god of dreams." Unlike the Shenron of Earth, Porunga can grant three wishes, though he can only bring back one person from the dead per wish. Additionally, he will not respond to wishes unless they are made in the Namekian language.

Porunga is approximately five times larger[ than Shenron and is less [tag:7632251 serpent-like in appearance. When Moori was made Grand Elder, he created new Dragon Balls and gave Porunga the ability to resurrect multiple beings at once, a power that Elder Kai feels violates the natural laws of the universe.
