Frost Walrus was one of Repliforce's largest soldiers, and he had no qualms about throwing that weight around. Even before General's coup, Frost Walrus' appetite for destruction made him a marked man by the Maverick Hunters. When he was invited to join Repliforce, his war-hungry heart snatched up the opportunity. He was assigned to Repliforce's Snow Base, where he guarded a secret weapon being crafted by the organization. Frost Walrus bore no fear or respect for the Maverick Hunters, not even for elite soldiers like Mega Man X and Zero. Frost Walrus referred to the pair as "kids" who were barely worth fighting. Zero was particularly displeased about being compared to a child, and he barked an irritated "Shut up!" at Frost Walrus before the two clashed. Frost Walrus had a sizable menu of ice attacks at his disposal. Ice Blade launched pointy chunks of ice from his shoulders, which fell back to earth as jagged spearheads. Even if X and Zero dodged the icefall, they had to contend with the residual spiky shards that littered the ground. Frost Walrus could also use his icy breath to create a giant Frost Tower icicle, which would scatter more spiky shards when he punched it. Said shards could stick in the walls as well as the ground, seriously hindering the Hunters' fight against the huge Maverick.
Frost Walrus' bulk gave the impression of a slow-moving Maverick, but that was a deadly deception. Frost Walrus could throw himself on the ground and slide forward with a Body Blow at a surprisingly high speed, mowing down anyone unlucky enough to get caught in his path.
Fire was Frost Walrus' foil, and it allowed X and Zero to more easily dispatch the goliath and grab his weapons. The Frost Tower formed a shield of ice around X, which protected him as long as he stood in it. When X formed the shield in midair, it fell downward and damaged foes on the ground. Charged, the Frost Tower caused enormous chunks of ice to rain down from above.

Zero's observation of Frost Walrus in battle allowed the Hunter to learn Hyouretsuzan, an icy sword art. When Zero was airborne, he could perform Hyouretsuzan to deliver a devastating downward jab. Even powerful foes like Sigma and Colonel had trouble withstanding the bite of this frozen fang.
