Cyber Peacock was one of the stranger Mavericks the Hunters have faced. Originally an artificial intelligence designed to protect important computer systems from attacks by hackers, his programming was rewritten by Sigma to attack those who tried to access the network, and in the process, test the abilities of Hunters X and Zero in Cyber Space.
When tracked down by the Hunters during the Great Repliforce War, Peacock teleported around the battlefield in an effort to get close enough to either unleash his Feather Attack (extending his tail feathers as energy blades) or leap upwards with a Rising Slash. He also used his Tracking Shot from the air, activating a targeting reticule that feather-like projectiles would attempt to home in on before detonating.
Later, aboard the Repliforce's orbital Final Weapon base, the Hunters encountered a physical form of Cyber Peacock among the other fallen Reploids who had been reactivated as the satellite's guardians.
Following Peacock's deletion, X acquired the Aiming Laser, which allowed him to lock onto as many as three targets, tracking their movements while firing laser blasts. When charged, it fired a single cone-shaped beam that didn't track targets, but was able to be repositioned as needed. Zero gained the Rakuhouha, which mimicked the Feather Attack by fanning nine energy projectiles out when he punched the ground.
