SPOILER: When X began his attack on Repliforce's orbital base, Final Weapon, Double shed his stout disguise and revealed himself to be a formidable fighting Reploid, who then terminated several members of the 17th.
When confronting X aboard Final Weapon, Double revealed himself to be a spy sent by Sigma to keep an eye on X before attacking the Hunter. His primary offense consisted of lunging attacks using the energy blades mounted on his arms, as well as launching spinning energy blade and energy wave projectiles. While vulnerable to the Double Cyclone, attacking him with it would splinter off bits of his gelatinous form that would become either spinning blades or attack drones which fired on their target.
