The evil alien lifeform Draias, who calls himself the Space Emperor, invades Earth. Fighbird, the commander of the Space Police who came to Earth in pursuit of Draias, fuses with an android developed by the genius scientist Dr. Amano. He begins to fight to protect peace on Earth under the name of Yutaro Katori. Meanwhile, Draias and his subordinates also fuse with the evil scientist Dr. Jango's base and android creations.
Katori looks like an ordinary human, but inside he is the alien plus energy lifeform Fighbird, which means that his words and actions are somewhat out of sync with those of earthlings. Normally, Katori is a clumsy man in glasses and a lab coat working as Professor Amano's assistant, but when the mecha beast of Draias appears, his personality changes drastically. His strong character and his good-natured personality make him very popular among women. Kenta Amano and Haruka Amano, Dr. Amano's grandchildren, frequent the lab and look up to Katori.
Android Katori fuses with the Fire Jet and becomes the giant Brave robot Fighbird to fight against Draias on Earth. The other members of the alien Space Police fuse with various vehicles that can transform into robots too. One becomes the leader of the 5-machine Baron Team called Ace Baron. The rest consists of the Guard Team. Guard Star, a police car, Guard Rescue, an ambulance and Guard Fire, a firetruck.
It is a miracle-fun story about a heroic alien learning about and saving the World with the help of humanity. The second installment in the Brave series that continues the worldview of Brave Exkaiser!
