[[1954-1975]]
From a terrifying force of nature representing the horrors of war, to a parental figure primed for blockbuster kaiju team-ups,
Godzilla's role varied with each new Show era incarnation.
[[1984-1995]]

A Reploid created by Gate using [character:197826 Zero]'s DNA at the outset of the Nightmare Incident for reasons unknown, High Max possessed incredible offensive and defensive power that is rumored to have surpassed even that of X and his allies. He appeared in Gate's stead as a figurehead leader of the Nightmare Investigators after a Mechaniloid going Maverick was pinned on the Zero Nightmare.
||The first encounter with High Max occurred after the aforementioned Mechaniloid incident. Initially appearing impervious to attack, it turned out that High Max was vulnerable to weapons and techniques acquired from Gate's other creations. Believing himself superior by design, High Max squared off with X and a returning Zero after the Zero Nightmare had been eliminated, as the Nightmare phenomena continued regardless.
High Max was capable of flight, and used this to his advantage by swooping at his opponents as well as firing from on high. Each hand was capable of firing off numerous energy blasts, but High Max could also charge a ball of energy between his hands which would become either a pair of ring-shaped protective barriers or rectangular barriers that could both protect him and potentially crush his foes instantly. His primary weapon, the Death Ball, allowed him to generate a large blue orb from one hand that he would employ in a variety of ways: he could fire it along the floor and up any nearby walls, utilize it as a sort of melee strike to bulldoze anything in his way, or sequentially shoot four smaller orbs at a time.||
