Blaze the Cat is a visitor from another dimension. She is princess of the Sol Empire and guardian of the Sol Emeralds- and when her people are threatened, she leaps into action without hesitation to protect them. A master of flames, with all seven Sol Emeralds she transforms into Burning Blaze, a superpowered version of herself that's similar to Super Sonic.

While Blaze may seem calm and composed on the surface, her fiery emotions are occasionally visible through the cracks. Most of the time, though, her dedication to duty causes an air of reserve that makes her come across as shy. However, since meeting Sonic and others, she's learned that she doesn't have to do everything on her own, and that problems can often be solved through the power of teamwork.
