A Mixed work. Exhibited in the 1990s for 24 years. Completed in Autumn, on September 13. Originally exhibited in Kostanay, Republic of Kazakhstan, before being relocated to Zeno Arms Academy, the exhibit was later toured across Siberia and Latin America.
- I understand it isn't easy for us to place our trust in one another, Timekeeper. But you have my word—I will not speak of this place to anyone, not even my father. This collaboration remains strictly between you and me.
(First Encounter Voiceline)
- A perfect day to double down on physical training ... Just kidding. You're not my soldier, and we're not in the army. Go ahead, enjoy the day.
(Suitcase Climate Voiceline)
- That little firecracker used to relentlessly, almost annoyingly, pester me to take a break. She said I should travel, play dice with her, do something, anything, for myself ... Maybe one day, I will.
(To the Future Voiceline)
- Are you always so quiet when you feel relaxed? Or ... is it that you're still searching for true peace, like many of us have been since the 'Storm'?
(Idle Voiceline)
- ...! It's you. My apologies, Timekeeper. It's hard to unlearn the reflexes of a soldier. Being caught off guard on the battlefield can have serious consequences. But here, I will do my best to adapt to your ... hospitality.
(Greetings Voiceline)
- Just a cup of tea to start the day? For a soldier, this is a quick path to malnourishment. Come, sit. I've prepared some baursak and chai. A proper Saryarka breakfast will do you good.
(Morning Voiceline)
- Morning is quiet here. No jackdaws tapping at the window, no leaves being crushed beneath soldiers' boots ... It almost feels unreal.
(Bond: Morning Voiceline)
- Dinnertime is certainly lively. Criminals, scholars, law enforcement, even descendants of prominent families ... all gathered around the same table.
(Night Voiceline)
- What is Zeno like at night? Orderly, I suppose. Thousands of soldiers all close their eyes at once and drift into their dreams. Well, 'dreaming' isn't exactly the right word. It's more like a 'передышка,' a little 'breather.'
(Bond: Night Voiceline)
- Oh ...! I used to touch the sides of my younger siblings' faces in the same way when they needed a little encouragement.
(Hat and Hair Voiceline)
- Shooting gave me these calluses. I'm glad to know you haven't developed any of your own. The first time I fired a gun, the recoil tore the webbing between my thumb and forefinger. But now, after years of doing it, I hardly feel a thing.
(Sleeves and Hands Voiceline)
- The baksys channel their arcane power through totems and silver. Though I never became one of them, my baksy nanny gave me these silver pieces when I left home, along with her prayers for my well-being.
(Clothing and Torso Voiceline)
