She had complete faith in Astaroth, a member of the High Council; but when Lucilius found out Astaroth planned to seize the Astral Realm for his own selfish ambitions, Lucifer was ordered to―and did―bring down Astaroth.
Determined to take revenge on Lucilius, Magus attempted to overthrow Lucifer but failed. Her life was spared and she was imprisoned in Pandemonium while carrying Astaroth's remains in her arms. When the crew arrived at Pandemonium and faced her in battle, Magus used her magic to revive Astaroth—but because the revival was incomplete she failed yet again. She fell to the bottom of the sky together with Pandemonium, until the Phoenix resurrected her with its tear.
