Description [Clear]

Wally is a frail boy that the player meets near the start of their journey through Hoenn. The player helps Wally to catch his first Pokémon, and with it, he slowly becomes stronger. By the end of the game, the player's original rival has returned home, and instead, Wally awaits them for a true final battle. His first Pokémon, and subsequently his ace, is a Ralts that evolves into either a Gardevoir or Gallade depending on the game.
