The Thorn Pokémon. This Grass/Poison type debuted in Gen III in Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire. Roselia's emmits a fragrant aroma that relaxes whoever smells it. It's said that the stronger the aroma, the healthier the Roselia is. Roselia's living near clean drinking water are known to have more vivid flowers. These flowers have hidden thorns in them. These thorns along with the ones on Roselia's head are known to be extremely toxic.

Budew, the Bud Pokémon, is the pre-evolution of Roselia who debuted in Generation IV in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. Budews are sensitive to changing temperatures. It's bud is said to bloom whenever it feels the warm touch of the sun. When winter comes, it closes it's bud tight and endures the cold. Budews spreads around it's Pollen in Spring. The Pollen of a Budew can cause sneezing and runny noses, the toxicity of it's pollen increases when Budews are found near cleaner waters.

Roserade, the Bouquet Pokémon, is the evolution of Roselia who also debutted in Generation IV. A Shiny Stone is needed to evolve Roselia into Roserade. With the graceful movements of a dancer, it lashes at its prey with thorny whips hidden in it's arms. Both of Roserade's hands contains lethal toxin. One arm is a quick acting poison, the other a slow acting one. Both are life threatening.
