SPOILER: Wolfram is a German soldier assigned to the Emerald Witch Project, the goal of which was to foster Sieglinde Sullivan's scientific discoveries into chemical warfare. Prior to the project, Wolfram did not have a name. He initially resented his position as 'babysitter' of Sieglinde, but quickly grew to care for her deeply. He ultimately decides to betray his countrymen for the sake of protecting Sieglinde. He feels deep guilt for deceiving her for so long, but they ultimately reconcile.
The two now live together in England, where they provide medical and scientific help to Ciel, funded by Queen Victoria.
