Enta is a 14-year-old middle school student, and one of the deuteragonists of the story. He is Kazuki's best friend, forming a duo that he refers to as the 'Golden Combi'. He has a passionate love for both soccer, and Kazuki, who he has a not-so-secret crush on. Both soccer and Kazuki are regular focuses of his fantasies. He distrusts the newcomer Toi, who he sees as a dangerous person encroaching on his relationship with Kazuki.

He is also caught up in Kazuki and Toi's encounter with the kappa prince Keppi, and is also turned into a kappa. In order to return to their human forms, they must extract the shirikodama of kappa zombies, and return the shirikodama to Keppi by connecting to one another and performing the 'Sarazanmai'.
