[[1954-1975]] From a terrifying force of nature representing the horrors of war, to a parental figure primed for blockbuster kaiju team-ups, Godzilla's role varied with each new Show era incarnation. [[1984-1995]] In 1984, the King of the Monsters' cinematic canon returned to its darker roots in Godzilla Returns. This raging Godzilla radiated renewed menace, with a mountainous silhouette of massive dorsal fins running from its fanged face to its longest tail yet.

Description [Clear]

Known as "The Count of Monte Cristo." Entrapped by a cruel plot and convicted of a crime he didn't commit, he was sent to the nightmarish Château d'If. His iron will kept him from falling into despair, and with the treasure of Monte Cristo island in hand he returned to Paris. There he exacted a terrible revenge upon the city's most influential people who had betrayed him to become so.

Shrouded with wrathful, black-blue flames, the Count of Monte Cristo himself is the most renowned "Avenger" in the world. His wrath and vengeance are directed toward "irrationality and malice", and never toward innocent people. He was recorded in the Throne of Heroes as combined with the character in his eponymous novel and materialized as the Extra Class Avenger.

He acknowledged Chaldea's Master, saying "while commonplace, you crush the machinations of evil," and forged a contract. Subsequently,  he took root in the depths of his Master's spirit as a co-conspirator in deceiving and scorning and irrationality of this world, and plays an important role in shielding that spirit from malice.

With the spiritual strength and quickness of thought honed at Château d'If where he was once sealed, he is skilled in incredibly quick unarmed combat using superhuman physical abilities, as well as his all-consuming black flames.

An avenger to fate and reality. The Count of Monte Cristo always hates the irrationality and malice that is generally in the world. In that case apparently, it appears that his hatred is even projected towards the whole world except on himself, but he is never a demon that hates people who are proven to be innocent. He surely hates, and continues to deny, reality itself that reigns while it is full of immoralities and atrocities.

Dantès defines himself as the “Vengeful Demon of Eternity”. He is full of roughness and violence, hurting every person who approaches him, but————
