Cinnamon is a young, eager Reploid who lived in Giga City with her creator, Professor Gaudile. As her angelic design suggests, Cinnamon nurses a deep desire to help and heal anyone in need. Her friendly demeanor and small stature disarm opponents who mistake her for a pushover; though she never seeks a fight, Cinnamon is capable of delivering a nasty scratch, bruise, or poke with her interchangeable glove-type weapons.
Cinnamon's initiation into the Resistance was a little unusual. Professor Gaudile didn't just build Cinnamon to be a healer and a comforting companion: she was also the vessel for Gaudile's coveted Force Metal Generator. When the thief Marino ran into Cinnamon during her search for the generator, she was surprised to discover the naïve Reploid was the generator. Ever adaptable, Marino prepared to abduct Cinnamon (an event Cinnamon later admitted she let happen because she could sense Marino had "a good heart") but her attempt was interrupted by the mad Rebellion Army scientist, Dr. Psyche. Dr. Psyche, acting on his own designs to own the Force Metal Generator, wrenched Cinnamon from Marino with an attack that should have killed the thief. But Cinnamon quickly rushed to her new friend's side and brought her back from the brink of death with a hands-on display of her capabilities as a healer. Dr. Psyche was then brought low by the Giga City Resistance.
Though a little shy and sometimes unsure of herself, Cinnamon stood boldly before her doting father, Professor Gaudile, and stated her desire to fight alongside her new friends. Hesitant at first, Professor Gaudile eventually gave his blessing. Cinnamon joined Mega Man X and the Giga City Resistance, where her talent for helping and healing proved vital again and again.

Cinnamon's very presence was a boon to the Resistance, as the Force Metal Generator she carried inside her let Mega Man X and his friends fuse Force Metal alloys into stronger Force Metals that boosted their abilities in battle. She also has a surprising -almost unsettling- array of attacks that she delivers with her interchangeable gloves. Some, like the Full Metal Boxer, pack an incredible punch. Some, like the Kitty Gloves, are as adorable as they are deadly. And some, like the Injector, are terrifying. Many hapless Rebellion soldiers learned it doesn't matter how small and sweet your opponent is-if they close in on you bearing oversized syringe hands loaded with digital pathogens, you're going to have nightmares for the rest of your life.
Whenever all else fails, Cinnamon augments her powers with her Hyper Mode, the cheerfully named Iron Maiden. But Cinnamon prefers helping her friends over getting into physical altercations, and her aid was invaluable during the Giga City mission.
