What is FFAK about?
The simple answer is: FFAK is a story about killing the monsters.
Or I could say FFAK is a sci-fi action dark comedy horror erotica? story about Man Eating worms.
The more complex answer, is that it is a story that revolves around several themes such as: lack of closure, feeling valid in your reasons to hate and how first impressions are often times misleading of the full context. There’s plenty of others but, those are some major ones.
It's a very heavily graphic comic (visually and narratively) that revolves around a pretty sizable cast (not one person is the main character) and it also has a non-linear format of telling events as it spans over a huge timeline. I slowly piece together the puzzle pieces that make up the full story, and I deliver them at an unusual pace. But yeah, very heavy with sexual and violent content, as well as other complex and dark issues. Its a pretty brutal comic at times, w/o much or any consideration for who is looking. Everything’s kind of on the table with nothing sacred. Tread carefully.
