Gabriel re-founded the country as the Independent Airborne State of Zepp and became its first president. He revived the principles upon which Zepp had originally been founded and freed the slaves. Potemkin's own achievements during the revolution were worthy of note as well, and he earned Gabriel's trust. He currently serves in a covert unit commanded directly by the president himself. Gabriel is Potemkin's superior, savior, and mentor in all things, including life.
Upon receiving Ramlethal Valentine's declaration of war against mankind, Gabriel dispatched Potemkin to the ruins of Japan to apprehend her.
In the Cradle Incident, Gabriel ordered him to scout Japan to find out what was happening. However, while he was traveling to Japan, he was discovered by Bedman and put out of duty.
