Eventually, the Lord of Light was struck with an incurable sickness, and so he turned to the son most similar to him in nature—Aglovale—for continuing his research. Seeing the mad expression on his father's face and the obsessively written research notes left behind reminded Aglovale of a distant yet vivid memory: the moment his father's smile disappeared upon his mother's death—a memory that his younger brothers have long forgotten.
