He's a member of the [tag:1989736 Inhuman royal family], but not content with his position as a brilliant scientist of Attilan, Maximus wants the ultimate power of the throne occupied by his older brother [character:8309247 Black Bolt]. Maximus has taken control of the [tag:9723209 Inhuman] crown several times, but he is always overthrown by his more noble sibling, sometimes with the help of other, non-Inhuman heroes.
