Originally an orphan, he was taken in by Margo, the proprietress of an inn in the town of Redmont in the Felghana region, and spent his childhood with his childhood friends Elena and Chester. Around the same time, he met his martial arts teacher Berhardt, and after training under him, he set out on an adventure that spanned the world. When he visited Esteria, he met Goban, and became his subordinate as a thief. He met Adol in Darm Tower, and was attracted by Adol's personality and many tales of adventure, and began accompanying him on his adventures as his traveling companion. He is originally from the Felghana region, and after his adventures in Felghana, he worked hard to rebuild his hometown for a while.
