"Spreading blessings to lives far and wide! Cure Felice!"
Kotoha Hanami, known primarily as Ha-chan, is a main character in Mahoutsukai PreCure. She is initially discovered as a baby by Mirai and Riko in Episode 4, appearing out of a book they find in the Magic School library. From then on they care for her as their own child, watching her as she grows from a tiny infant fairy into a toddler. As a child she was bright, energetic, and frequently found herself in the center of trouble. As a teenager she is much the same, but matures greatly over the course of the series. She is very close to her surrogate mothers and surrogate sister, Mofurun.
By episode 22 she has finished aging into a teenager, and has transformed into one of the main PreCures, Cure Felice. As a teen, she is an extremely talented magician, although somewhat prone to overusing her magic in daily life.

As Cure Felice, her powers and costume are themed around flowers, as well as the concept of life itself. Unlike Miracle and Magical, she does not use the Linkle Stones to change elemental types. Her main methods of attack are using her fists, her wand, or the Linkle Stone Pink Tourmaline, which acts as a barrier. That said, she still has an upgraded form which is used later in the series, and she is also able to boost the abilities of her fellow PreCure.
