If the nucleus is removed, its soft body loses all structure and splatters. But as long as the nucleus is still alive, the Foolix can return to its original form.
Usually, the Foolix will mimic nectar and wait for its prey. Its gel, which includes fire-extinguishing fluids, will then expand to capture and feed on unsuspecting organisms.
