- Since I've renounced my role, you needn't address me by any title. Please, call me Cheng. This is a beautiful place ... The lake mirrors the mountains, just as they do in my hometown. A hidden paradise indeed. My apologies for troubling you with a lengthy stay. You have my sincerest thanks!
(First Encounter Voiceline)
- While on duty, fog was a nuisance to me—it blurred my vision, obscuring the trails I followed. But now I walk into it willingly, for even the wrong path may offer worthy results.
(Suitcase Climate Voiceline)
- I think I'll live simply for a time—sharpening my blade, growing crops in the Wilderness. This world is unlike anything I've ever known ... I need some time to reflect on the direction my life will now take.
(To the Future Voiceline)
- I had little free time as a constable, but the busy days gave me purpose. I never considered that, one day, I would find myself at a loss for what to do. I feel I need a walk. Please, excuse me, Honorable Mistress.
(Idle Voiceline)
- Footsteps, light and steady, like a confident pony. Must be Mistress Vertin ... Ah, just as I thought. What brings you?
(Greetings Voiceline)
- So, when the short hand points at number seven, it's the Hour of the Dragon, and when the long hand reaches six, one-fourth of the hour has passed. Easy enough to understand—not too different from a sundial, in fact.
(Morning Voiceline)
- Good morning. I've just returned from buying groceries with Ms. Bunny. Can you believe she procured a significant discount simply by handing the shopkeeper a piece of paper? This 'coupon' certainly is a marvelous invention!
(Bond: Morning Voiceline)
- I heard crickets chirping when darkness fell, so I lit my lamp and tracked them down. They're quite different from those in Huanzhou, yet still, they remind me of home. Might the Honorable Mistress join me in a cricket fight? Though I warn you, I'm quite the competitor.
(Night Voiceline)
- 'As fireflies hover low, I write this letter to Huanzhou ...' Huanzhou ... Hmph. There is no returning there now.
(Bond: Night Voiceline)
- My mother often fretted over this mole; a fortune-teller claimed it would 'bring misfortune and danger.' Hmph. This is my life—I won't let any divination decide its course.
(Hat and Hair Voiceline)
- Reforged several times, this blade now bears little resemblance to that which I received 20 years ago. Still, looking upon it reminds me why I studied the blade.
(Sleeves and Hands Voiceline)
- No, I have no particular fondness for deep blue. I simply wear it out of habit.
(Clothing and Torso Voiceline)
- Mr. Rabies may be a little slow, but he is kind and gentle—often spending hours watching over my crops. What? Give him a bone as a thank you? That's no way to treat a friend!
(Hobby Voiceline)
- To offer shelter in tumultuous times is a truly noble act. You have my sincere thanks.
(Praise Voiceline)
- Mistress Vertin! Hurry, is there a measuring implement in the Suitcase? I believe I've just made my greatest catch yet! Tonight, we feast on catfish— and I shall tell the tale of the catch while we drown ourselves in drink!
(Intimacy Voiceline)
- After months of study, I am able to chat enough in English without Getian's aid. There are still times I can't find the right words, of course—though body language can solve that. It is an honor to freely communicate with so many.
(Chitchat I Voiceline)
- As a child, I once knelt for three days in the ancestral hall for turning the leaves of a gingko tree to iron. I didn't know it was a living relic until I had already stripped it bare. Thus I learned of balance. Now, I pluck only a few leaves from each tree so that they might continue to live on.
(Chitchat II Voiceline)
- The past four hundred years passed me by in a moment ... I do not know what this world has become or where my path will lead, but one thing is certain—my blade remains bound to justice.
(Monologue Voiceline)
- I won't disappoint you!
(Deployment Voiceline)
- At the ready!
(Pre-Battle Voiceline)
- I'll keep them occupied!
(Select Incantation I Voiceline)
- I have the rear!
(Select Incantation II Voiceline)
- Swift as an arrow!
(Select Ultimate Voiceline)
- Strike when the time is right!
(Cast Arcane Skill II Voiceline)
- You are in my jurisdiction!
