Raised in the Black Talon organization, Taurie Cain grew to worship an ancient [character:3916017 entity]. Eventually, the Black Talon discovered overlaps into alternate realms and began explorative expeditions. One such expedition claimed the lives of her brother and mother, but Taurie emerged unscathed. Determined to become a full-fledged disciple, she was assigned to take a life, a necessary step to achieve transcendence.
