She knows all sorts of useful hints and local gossip and convinces the mayor to let the strange newcomer who crashes through the shop roof to stay to help revitalise Amber Isle! She happily helps them establish and advertise the village’s new shop, asking for nothing in return. Gifted with a photographic memory, Maple can create a perfect map in minutes, but she would much rather explore and fly freely than do any tedious desk work. Maple doesn't remember much of what life was like when she was a child and Amber Isle was at the height of its prosperity, all she knows is the humble life her and Mayor Clawsworth have built together.
