A [tag:7285309 bard's] purpose in life is to celebrate triumph over adversity, and a world without evil was a world with no new songs to sing. Alongside fellow bard Baermar Uraz, Aestri Yazar set out toward the Rotted Tower, stronghold of the Arch-Lich [character:4557511 Vecna]. As they drew closer, the troupe could feel evil magic in the air. Steeling themselves for a fight, they were shocked to find the Rotted Tower abandoned. Upon reading a discarded scroll, a strange black fog began to slowly envelop them, and within moments they were gone.
