Rather than wallowing in misery, he chose to follow in his father's footsteps. He sat down by the withered tree that his people had cherished and told the stories he had gathered as if everyone was still there. As he did so, fireflies lit up the night sky. Carrying the fireflies' light with him as memories of his home, he embarked on a fresh journey to document new tales.
