She is not native to Sinnoh, and speaks with a notable French accent in most versions of the game, or instead peppers her speech with English in the Japanese and French versions. Fantina also likes to participate in the Contests which are held in the city. She specialises in Ghost-type Pokémon, with Mismagius being her ace.
