A terrifying creation of science and sorcery, the duplicitous Dupli-Cat is the loyal steed of Faker and the evil doppelganger of He-Man'sBattle Cat. Devoid of anything resembling nobility, Dupli-Cat is fully under Faker's control, even to the point of its own jeopardy. Even as Faker has occasionally displayed his own agency, beyond that of a mere mechanical slave, Dupli-Cat has turned on Skeletor and his henchmen when it suited Faker's needs. Owing to an enchantment that stole some of Battle Cat's own power at the moment of Dupli-Cat's creation, the cybernetic tiger is nearly a physical match for his rival.
At one point, He-Man successfully tricked Dupli-Cat into thinking he was in fact Faker, but the deception lasted only a short time as He-Man lacked the maniacal mimic's duplicitous nature.
Just as Faker has no secret identity, Dupli-Cat has no alternate forms, though his internal sensors have alerted him to an inexplicable connection to Prince Adam's pet, Cringer. Fortunately, Dupli-Cat is unable to comprehend the nature of that connection.
